EXPRESS · HOME & BUSINESS BROADBAND

Acceptable Use Policy

Version: 5 November 2026 · Version 2

Use Express for normal, lawful home and business activities while respecting other people, their information and the network. This policy applies to the account holder and people they authorise to use the connection.

Everyday use

Browsing, work, learning, streaming, calls, gaming and cloud services are permitted within your plan. Household members, employees and guests may use the connection at the agreed premises. Keep access credentials and devices reasonably secure and report suspected unauthorised access.

Activities that are not permitted

Do not use Express to access, create, store, host or share pornography, other sexually explicit adult content, or child sexual abuse material. Content that threatens, abuses or exploits anyone, or encourages others to do so, is also prohibited.

Do not use the service for fraud, scams, impersonation, unlawful content or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not steal credentials, access systems without permission, distribute malware, launch attacks or deliberately disrupt other users or networks.

Do not send unlawful or unsolicited bulk messages, tamper with Bell equipment, bypass service restrictions or disguise abusive traffic. Reselling the service, operating a public resale service or extending it to another premises requires Bell’s written agreement.

Heavy use and network protection

High lawful usage alone is not misconduct. Any routine usage threshold or speed reduction is governed by the Fair Usage Policy and your accepted plan schedule. We may ask you to address an infected device or activity that materially harms the service or other users.

Lawful restrictions and outside services

We comply with applicable lawful directions. Access to a particular website or app may be restricted by a competent authority, the website operator or circumstances outside the Express network. Its unavailability alone does not mean your internet connection has failed or your access has been compromised. Report suspected connection faults for investigation.

Action and review

Where reasonably possible, we explain the concern and allow an appropriate opportunity to correct it. A serious ongoing threat or legal requirement may require immediate protective action. Any restriction should be proportionate and reviewed when its cause is addressed. Repeated or serious breaches may lead to suspension or termination under the agreement and law.

If you believe action was mistaken, contact care@express.tz with your account ID. We explain the reason and restoration steps as far as we lawfully can. This policy does not create an automatic fine or remove your complaint and statutory rights.
